Syllabus for PGDA
The Institute of Archaeology functions as an Academic Wing of the Archaeological Survey of India. It is headed by a Director (Archaeology). It conducts two years Post-Graduate Diploma in Archaeology course, besides, Professional Workshops in the field of Structural Conservation and Chemical Preservation, Heritage and Environment Management, Epigraphy and Numismatics, Excavation and Exploration, Museology, and Administration and Accounts are also conducted time to time. The Two years course of two thousand marks is divided into four Semesters with following segments.
